PI 簡介

戚兵，上海紐約大學(xué)物理副教授（tenure-track），博士生導(dǎo)師，美國光學(xué)學(xué)會(huì)會(huì)士，同時(shí) 為華東師范大學(xué)精密光譜科學(xué)與技術(shù)國家重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室兼職教授。戚兵本科畢業(yè)于南京大學(xué)物理系，之后獲得大連理工大學(xué)博士學(xué)位。先后在清華大學(xué)，美國弗吉尼亞理工大學(xué)，加拿大多倫多大學(xué)，美國橡樹嶺國家實(shí)驗(yàn)室，美國田納西大學(xué)以及思科公司從事量子通信及光纖傳感器研究工作。戚兵博士于 2023 年加入上海紐約大學(xué)并創(chuàng)建量子光子學(xué)實(shí)驗(yàn)室，目前的主要研究方向?yàn)榱孔颖Ｃ芡ㄐ偶熬W(wǎng)絡(luò)。

崗位職責(zé)：

作為博士后研究員，您的主要職責(zé)包括：

? 在量子光子學(xué)領(lǐng)域開展前沿研究，重點(diǎn)關(guān)注量子通信、量子網(wǎng)絡(luò)和光學(xué)傳感。

? 參與量子光子實(shí)驗(yàn)室的建設(shè)與管理。

? 協(xié)助研究生及本科生的科研指導(dǎo)工作。

? 在國際學(xué)術(shù)期刊及國內(nèi)外學(xué)術(shù)會(huì)議上發(fā)表研究成果。

? 作為項(xiàng)目負(fù)責(zé)人（PI）或聯(lián)合負(fù)責(zé)人（co-PI），參與科研經(jīng)費(fèi)申請(qǐng)工作。

資格要求：

? 具有物理學(xué)、電子工程或相關(guān)領(lǐng)域的博士學(xué)位。

? 具有扎實(shí)的光纖光學(xué)實(shí)驗(yàn)經(jīng)驗(yàn)。

? 具有良好的英語聽說讀寫能力。

? 優(yōu)先考慮：具備相干光通信或連續(xù)變量量子通信研究經(jīng)驗(yàn)的候選人。

Postdoctoral Position Available in Prof. Bing Qi’s group at NYU Shanghai

We are seeking one or two dynamic individuals with a Ph.D. in physics, electrical and computer  engineering (ECE), or a related field to join our cutting-edge quantum photonics research team at NYU Shanghai. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong background in experimental quantum communications or fiber optic communications.

Responsibilities:

As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will:

? Conduct cutting-edge research on quantum photonics, with a focus on quantum communication, quantum networking, and optical sensing.

? Contribute to the development and management of a quantum photonics lab.

? Co-supervise graduate and undergraduate students.

? Publish research papers in scientific journals and present results at conferences.

? Contribute to the development of funding proposals as a Principal Investigator (PI) or co- PI.

Key Qualifications:

? Ph.D. in Physics, Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), or a related field.

? Strong hands-on experience in fiber optic experiments.

? Excellent communication skills in English; fluency in Chinese is desirable.

? Desirable: Previous experience in coherent optical communication or continuous- variable quantum communication.

? Desirable: Previous experience in optical lab management.
