We are seeking Network Engineer. The main responsibilities include (1) Network Infrastructure Management -Deploying, configuring, and maintaining core network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, access points. -Managing campus-wide wired and wireless networks, ensuring optimal performance and uptime. -Monitoring network traffic, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency. -Conducting regular network audits and capacity planning to support the university’s growing digital infrastructure needs. (2) Network Security and Compliance -Implementing and enforcing network security policies to protect against cyber threats and unauthorized access. -Managing firewalls, VPNs, and access control mechanisms to ensure a secure network environment. -Conducting vulnerability assessments and collaborate with the IT security team to mitigate risks. -Maintaining compliance with relevant IT security regulations and standards. (3) Troubleshooting and Technical Support -Diagnosing and resolving network-related incidents, minimizing downtime and service disruptions. -Providing technical support and guidance to faculty, staff, and students on network-related issues. -Maintaining comprehensive documentation of network configurations, incident reports, and troubleshooting procedures. (4) Collaboration and Innovation -Working closely with system administrators, IT support teams, and external vendors for seamless integration of network systems. -Participating in planning and execution of network infrastructure upgrades and digital transformation projects. -Researching emerging network technologies and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and security.

Required Education -Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Required Experience -Hands-on experience with network devices. -Experience in network management, IT infrastructure management, large-scale network deployment, network troubleshooting, optimization, or related areas Required Skills -Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, VLAN, OSPF, BGP, VPN, etc.). -Hands-on experience with server administration (Windows Server, Linux, VMware, Hyper-V). -Familiarity with network monitoring tools. -Understanding of cybersecurity principles, firewalls, and intrusion prevention systems. -Ability to script and automate network tasks using Python, Shell, or equivalent tools.
