Introduction to the Forum

華東師范大學(xué)青年科學(xué)家（學(xué)者）國(guó)際論壇科技商學(xué)交叉前沿研究分論壇是在學(xué)校統(tǒng)一部署下，由上海國(guó)際首席技術(shù)官學(xué)院、亞歐商學(xué)院聯(lián)合舉辦，旨在為海內(nèi)外高層次優(yōu)秀青年學(xué)者搭建一個(gè)學(xué)術(shù)交流的平臺(tái)。分論壇通過(guò)專題報(bào)告、學(xué)術(shù)研討、面試交流等形式，聚焦“科技+商學(xué)”交叉研究的主題，重點(diǎn)圍繞生物醫(yī)藥、人工智能、集成電路等產(chǎn)業(yè)技術(shù)領(lǐng)域的管理問(wèn)題，立足管理科學(xué)與工程、工商管理、應(yīng)用經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)等一級(jí)學(xué)科的相應(yīng)交叉研究方向，探討國(guó)際前沿課題，促進(jìn)學(xué)術(shù)交流與合作。本次論壇擬以線下方式于2025年8月下旬舉辦。

The International Forum of Young Scientists (Scholars) (Sub-Forumfor Sci&Tech Driven Business Interdisciplinary Research, Shanghai International School of Chief Technology Officer) is regularly co-organized by Shanghai International School of Chief Technology Officer and Asia Europe Business School under the instruction of East China Normal University. This sub-forum provides an academic platform for exchanging research progresses and ideas among outstanding young scientists through the symposium, academic seminar, and interview communication, focusing on topic of “sci&tech + business”. The forum will be more concentrated on the engineering management, business administration, applied economics and other first-level disciplines, and will explore international frontier topics and promote academic exchanges or cooperation in the relevant fields of biomedical science, artificial intelligence, and integrated circuit industry. The forum is planned to be held in an offline manner in late August 2025.

Introduction to the School and the University

East China Normal University (ECNU), founded on October 16, 1951, is a comprehensive research-oriented university jointly supported by the Ministry of Education and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government. In 1996, ECNU was listed in the national top university construction programs "Project 211". In 2006, ECNU was sponsored by the national "Project 985". In 2017, the university entered A-class of the national world-class university construction. Adhering to the university motto of “Seek truth, foster originality, and live up to the name of a teacher”, ECNU has made great achievements in talent-training, scientific research, community service and international exchanges. 上海國(guó)際首席技術(shù)官學(xué)院在中國(guó)工程院院士、華東師范大學(xué)校長(zhǎng)錢(qián)旭紅的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)下創(chuàng)立，為華東師范大學(xué)的新型實(shí)體教學(xué)科研機(jī)構(gòu)。學(xué)院致力于“通過(guò)人和技術(shù)的協(xié)同轉(zhuǎn)化實(shí)現(xiàn)科技的社會(huì)價(jià)值”，承擔(dān)國(guó)家戰(zhàn)略需求牽引的科創(chuàng)人才培養(yǎng)重任，秉持“創(chuàng)新改變世界”的核心價(jià)值觀，提出“應(yīng)對(duì)重大挑戰(zhàn)的管理教育”，于2021年上半年創(chuàng)立“科技商學(xué)”交叉學(xué)科，建立以“首席技術(shù)官”定位的工程管理碩士教育體系，以及由技術(shù)經(jīng)理人、CTO創(chuàng)新領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力、科創(chuàng)企業(yè)家、產(chǎn)業(yè)技術(shù)領(lǐng)袖等構(gòu)成的“科創(chuàng)人才金字塔”高管教育體系，建設(shè)成為融合教學(xué)教育、科創(chuàng)研究、技術(shù)轉(zhuǎn)移和成果轉(zhuǎn)化、創(chuàng)業(yè)服務(wù)和政府決策咨詢等功能的國(guó)際知名新型科技商學(xué)院。

The Shanghai International Academy of Chief Technology Officer was founded under the leadership of Qian Xuhong, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and president of East China Normal University. It is a new type of physical teaching and research institution of East China Normal University. The academy is committed to “realizing the social value of science and technology through the collaborative transformation of people and technology,” and undertakes the important task of cultivating science and innovation talents driven by national strategic demands. It adheres to the core value of “innovation changes the world” and proposes “management education to meet major challenges.” In the first half of 2021, it established the interdisciplinary field of “Techno-Business,” built a master’s education system in engineering management positioned with “Chief Technology Officer,” and created an executive education system of “science and innovation talent pyramid” composed of technology managers, CTO innovation leadership, science and innovation entrepreneurs, and industrial technology leaders. It aims to become an internationally renowned new type of science and technology business school integrating functions of teaching and education, science and innovation research, technology transfer and commercialization, entrepreneurial services, and government decision-making consultation.

The Asia-Europe Business School of East China Normal University is a globally positioned new type of technology business school. It was jointly established in June 2015 by East China Normal University, a world-class “Double First-Class” university in China, and the Emlyon Business School, with the support of the People’s Government of Minhang District, Shanghai, and the Shanghai Zizhu Hi-Tech Park (Group) Co., Ltd. The school implements the national innovation-driven development strategy, and in response to the need to enhance national competitiveness through scientific and technological innovation and high-quality development, it has deeply reformed professional education and reshaped the standards for excellent talent cultivation, focusing on developing students’ innovation capabilities and international management skills in the global business environment.It currently offers undergraduate programs in Business Administration (Intelligent Business Experimental Class, International Entrepreneurship and Innovation Class), a master’s program in Marketing (Luxury Brand Management), a Master of International Business (Global Management and China Studies), a Master of Engineering Management (Chief Intelligence Officer), and a doctoral program in Technology and Innovation Management jointly established with the Shanghai International Academy of Chief Technology Officers. The school provides full English-language teaching to strengthen the cultivation of management competence on a global scale. As of December 2024, students had come from 76 countries across six continents, with international students accounting for 64% of the total student population.

The CTO School, in combination with the ECNU Asia Europe Business School, jointly built the ECNU Sci&Tech Driven Business Alliance, carried out the “sci&tech+” and “business+” cross discipline construction, advocated the establishment of Sci&Tech Driven Business and changed the traditional education of business, which has been endorsed and supported by experts and scholars from the Tsinghua University, the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Zhejiang University, Tongji University and other academic communities. Mainly based on the new engineering advantageous fields of ECNU, such as ultra-limit manufacturing, AI and information technology, the school carries out talent cultivation and discipline construction of technology business for the three major industries - artificial intelligence, integrated circuit and biomedicine, as well as several strategic emerging industries. 

The school has now offered undergraduate programs in Business Administration (AI Business Experimental Class, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Class), Master's degree in Marketing (High-end Brand Management concentration), Master's degree in International Business (Global Management and China Studies concentration), engineering management professional master’s degree program (Chief Technology Officer Advanced MEM Program (EMEM), Chief Technology Officer Elite MEM Program (elite MEM), Chief Intelligence Officer MEM Program (iMEM), Chief Sustainability Officer MEM Program (sMEM)) and CTO innovative leadership executive education program (focusing on biomedical industry, beauty and wellness industry, etc.). The school has set a sub-discipline doctoral program of technology and innovation management, and established a technology business discipline system and world-class CTO talent training system with the coordinated development of undergraduate, post-graduate and doctoral programs, aiming to develop into a new internationally renowned technology business school integrating teaching education, scientific innovation research, technology transfer and achievement transformation, entrepreneurship service, government decision-making consultation, and other functions.

年齡一般在40周歲以下，具有海內(nèi)外知名高校、研究機(jī)構(gòu)博士學(xué)位，在所從事的學(xué)科前沿領(lǐng)域取得突出的學(xué)術(shù)成果，并具有重要影響力。

Young scientists should be aged below 40, with a PhD degree from a prestigious Chinese or foreign university or research institution, and have made outstanding academic achievements.
