Originally under the name “Tsinghua Xuetang”, Tsinghua University was founded in 1911 and is one of the most prestigious universities in China. Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management (Tsinghua SEM) was established in 1984, with former Premier Zhu Rongji as the founding dean. After 41 years of development, Tsinghua SEM has achieved remarkable results in talent cultivation, scientific research, social services, cultural heritage innovation and international exchanges and cooperation. It has taken the lead in obtaining the top two certifications of global management education AACSB and EQUIS and becomes a leading economics and management school in China.
清華經(jīng)管學(xué)院博士后流動(dòng)站設(shè)立于1988年，學(xué)院設(shè)置四個(gè)一級(jí)學(xué)科：理論經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)，應(yīng)用經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)，工商管理，管理科學(xué)與工程。至今，學(xué)院累計(jì)招收博士后700余名，其中包含海外博士后及企業(yè)聯(lián)合培養(yǎng)博士后。過(guò)去近41年的發(fā)展歷程中，清華經(jīng)管學(xué)院博士后規(guī)模日益擴(kuò)大、質(zhì)量逐步提升、管理制度不斷完善、人才培養(yǎng)和科研成績(jī)斐然，社會(huì)聲譽(yù)不斷提高。
The Postdoctoral Research Station of Tsinghua SEM was officially approved in 1988. There are four disciplines under the Station: theoretical economics, applied economics, management science and engineering, and business administration. Up till now we have recruited over 700 postdoctoral researchers in total, including international and enterprise joint training postdoctoral researchers. Over the past 41 years, Tsinghua SEM’s postdoctoral system has grown to one with larger scale, greater quality, better governance with eminent achievement in research and talent-training, and a higher social reputation.

Up to June 30, 2025, Tsinghua SEM has 137 full-time faculty members and six dual-appointed faculty of Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School (Innovation Management Area) and Tsinghua SEM (Shenzhen Campus). Among full-time and dual-appointed faculty, 141 have PhD degrees; 13 are recipients of the China National Science Foundation's Distinguished Young Scholars Funds; 12 are recipients of National Natural Science Foundation of China's Excellent Young Scientists Fund; 8 are Fellows of International Academic Institutes. Tsinghua SEM also invites honorary professors, adjunct professors, visiting professors, and management practice of visiting professors.
